About the Position

The quality assurance representative plays a vital role in our pre-owned vehicle acquisition strategy by evaluating customer vehicles brought into our dealership for service appointments. Stationed directly in our active Service Drive, the Evaluator works with industry-leading technology and collaborates closely with Service Advisors, Used Car Managers, and Sales Representatives to perform accurate, transparent vehicle appraisals.

This role provides customers with instant market-value offers for their vehicles based on current market data and service inspection results. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy combining analytical work with customer interaction in a low-pressure, process-driven environment. Through learning the Tom Gill Chevrolet process, each Evaluator can follow our defined career path to develop within the organization and build long-term skills in automotive retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Appraisal Setup: Prepare preliminary offer letters for our customers and coordinate appointment outreach with our BDC representative.
• Service Drive Operations: Station in the service drive to perform quick vehicle walkarounds, confirm mileage, and verify vehicle condition upon arrival.
• Inspection Analysis: Review Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections (MPVI) and Repair Orders (RO) to adjust appraisal reconditioning values accurately.
• Offer Presentation: Prepare and present transparent vehicle appraisal offers and offer checks to customers in a friendly, no-pressure manner.
• Internal Communication: Coordinate seamlessly with Service Advisors, Service Turn Representatives, and Used Car Managers regarding customer decisions and vehicle status.
• Customer Handoffs: Facilitate smooth introductions to Product Specialists when customers express interest in trading in or upgrading their vehicle.
