Home Health Aide

Home Health Aide's Needed in Waverly, Ohio

Purpose Care is looking for qualified, dependable, honest, reliable, Home Health Aides, STNA's, PCAs and CNA Caregivers to care for the needs of our clients.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Providing personal care to include:

• Baths, Showers, Bed Baths, Sponge Baths
• Oral hygiene
• Shampoos
• Changing bed linens
• Assisting patients with dressing/undressing and grooming
• Assisting the patient with toileting activities
• Keeping patient's living area clean and orderly

Doing patient's laundry, cleaning and meal preparations

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing Facility within the past year
• Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Candidates must complete a written Competency evaluation.
• Must complete a skills assessment.
• Able to independently lift 25lbs.
• Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired.
• Demonstrate patience, and good personal hygiene
• Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
