Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican TravelerClearwater, Florida, United StatesPosition ID: P-768013Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: 2026-10-26T00:00:00.000Z$2,365.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience, ACLS/BLS certification, and prior travel assignment experience.DetailsWork in a teaching hospital's Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab599 staffed bed short-term acute care facilityDay shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PMTreats patients with coronary disease, peripheral vascular disease, valvular disease, STEMI/NSTEMI, and USA diagnosesPerforms cardiac catheterizations, high risk PCI, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, and TAVR/Mitraclip work-upsUtilizes specialized equipment including Impella, Shockwave, Rotoblator, CSI, IABP, and LaserUses Cerner EMR for chartingOn-call responsibilities required as neededNo weekend requirementNo floating required outside of assigned hospital, though willingness to float to a nearby affiliate hospital is expectedRequirementsActive FL or Compact RN license requiredCurrent ACLS and BLS certifications requiredMinimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience requiredPrior travel nursing experience requiredCerner charting experience preferredCirculate and conscious sedation administration/monitoring skills requiredExperience with cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, and rotablator atherectomy requiredScrub procedure experience preferredExperience with carotid stenting and upper/lower extremity angiography requiredCOVID-19 vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions acceptedDate of birth required for considerationAdditional InformationResponsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for cardiac and vascular proceduresAdministers and monitors procedural sedation for patientsRoyal blue scrub color requiredNo RTO accommodations available during the contractFirst-time travelers will not be considered for this positionLocal candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facilityFormer permanent employees must wait at least 12 months before returning as a travelerPass/fail EKG exam required as part of start requirements
