RESPONSIBILITIES All responsibilities below relate to compliance under the directives of the FAA, as well as other NAAs (National Aviation (Authority) that follow similar guidelines. Unless otherwise noted, the responsibilities apply to the QA/Compliance Monitoring work across BAT training centers of the US. Implement and monitor the QA / compliance monitoring system. Take an active part in executing the QA audits, not only in both CAE Dallas training centers but also in the other training centers of the US, as needed Program, , execute and record the conduct of site Quality/Compliance audits to verify that applicable regulations from civil aviation authorities, applicable contractual requirements and key, relevant customer requirements, and internal Quality Manual requirements are complied with, including: Maintaining records of completed audits, non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions; Ensuring that follow-up actions within an agreed time frame are taken in respect of any non-compliance; If necessary, escalating non-compliance issues to the Quality Assurance Specialist II or III Ensuring that the organization’s policies and procedures support regulatory requirements; Ensuring that the organization’s policies and procedures identify and effectively mitigate quality and other compliance risk; Identify opportunities for improvement (OFI) on the training and business processes. Ensure regular/continuous timely QA reports are produced as defined on the Quality Manual on a per training center basis, a per regulatory jurisdiction basis, a per CAE business unit basis, etc. Ensure QA reporting supports the global QA policies, objectives, processes and best practices; QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Inquisitive, professional, independent thinker Solid sense of priorities, strong judgment Reliable and autonomous. Ability to interact internally with various categories of management and employees (operations leaders, business leaders, training leaders, simulator staff, etc.) Ability to interact externally with professional manners and decorum, with Customers and regulators. Highly organized, team player Observing skills, strong drive in promoting a quality and compliance culture, ability to coordinate multiple tasks in various locations simultaneously, numerate and IT literate. At least basic knowledge of Aviation regulations principles. Computer skills – word, excel, power point EXPERIENCE At least 1 - 2 years of quality assurance experience, compliance auditing in the aviation industry – ideally in a pilot training, aircraft operations or simulator training center environment.
