Job Title: Psychiatric Technician (Day Shift) Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Psychiatric Technician to join our team in a behavioral health setting. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting patients’ daily care while helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. • Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) / 3 - 12 hour shifts (Days will vary week to week)
• Pay Rates:
  • $17.00/hour (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
  • $18.25/hour (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM shift differential)
  • Weekend Rate: $18.25/hour
• Average Hourly Rate: $17.41/hour

• Provide daily supervision and support to patients as part of a multidisciplinary care team
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
• Observe and report changes in patient behavior, condition, or concerns to the Registered Nurse
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient activities, and specialized observations
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records
• Ensure readiness and proper use of emergency procedures and equipment
• Support unit operations by collaborating with nurses, team leaders, and peers

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to remain calm and responsive in emergency situations
• Team-oriented with a patient-focused approach

This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $36212.80 - $38292.80/yr.
