Purchasing Supervisor

Job Summary AppleOne is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging supplies, and inventory support functions that keep production and distribution running smoothly. The Purchasing Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting production schedules, working with vendors, and partnering with warehouse, production, quality, transportation, and finance teams. Key Responsibilities Order packaging supplies, raw materials, and related inventory needed to support production schedules. Monitor stock levels, usage trends, vendor lead times, and purchasing needs to help prevent shortages or excess inventory. Work closely with vendors to manage pricing, delivery performance, availability, and purchasing timelines. Support accurate inventory tracking for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging supplies. Supervise and support warehouse staff, including training, guidance, and performance feedback. Partner with Production, Quality Assurance, Transportation, and Finance teams to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and purchasing controls. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year. Job type: Direct hire. Location: Hanford, CA.
