Maintenance Planner

As an Asset Integration Planner, you will serve as the crucial link between new equipment installation and long-term operational reliability. You will lead the development of maintenance systems, documentation, and asset management processes to ensure new capital equipment is fully configured and ready for daily production. By establishing preventive maintenance strategies, spare parts management, and technical documentation, you ensure assets are optimized for performance before they are handed over to operations. This project-focused role offers a clear path toward long-term maintenance planning as initiatives are completed. Core Skills

• Education/Experience: Associate’s degree in a technical discipline and 3–5 years of industrial maintenance, planning, or equipment installation experience.
• Systems: Proficiency in CMMS/ERP systems (PLEX preferred).
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of PM/PdM, asset management, and ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and manuals.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, planning, and collaborative communication skills.
• Computer: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in capital projects, commissioning, and manufacturing startups.
• Background in maintenance strategy development, BOM/spare parts planning, and criticality assessments.
• Expertise in establishing PM programs and standard maintenance procedures.
• strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Environment: Hybrid office and production floor setting.
• Physical: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Safety: Mandatory adherence to facility safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities
• Asset & System Development: Maintain equipment records and hierarchies, configure maintenance systems (including PMs and inspections), and ensure data accuracy prior to operational turnover.
• Strategy Development: Design comprehensive maintenance plans, standard operating procedures, and spare parts strategies based on reliability best practices and manufacturer recommendations.
• Startup & Turnover: Oversee the acceptance and turnover process, verify readiness for production, and coordinate necessary documentation with vendors and contractors.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to maintain high safety and performance standards while providing training and support to maintenance staff.
