About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations for its Houston multifamily portfolio. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a comprehensive understanding of property operations, including operational and financial performance. This role is pivotal in developing and executing property-level business plans, overseeing capital investments, and implementing strategies to enhance operating efficiency, resident experience, and asset value. The Vice President will be responsible for maintaining strong financial and operational expertise, building and leading high-performing teams, and ensuring accountability across the portfolio. Collaboration with asset management, investments, and development teams is essential to achieve portfolio performance objectives and maximize long-term value. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a minimum of 10 years' of progressive multifamily property management experience, and a proven track record of success in improving various performance metrics. The role requires a candidate who is motivated by making an impact, is adept at handling challenges, and is committed to growth. The ideal candidate will be driven for greatness, live fully, and demonstrate grit, community, and authenticity in their work. They should be prepared to win, with a focus on discipline and stewardship, and embody the values of servant leadership. Experience with AppFolio and Conservice is preferred, and the candidate should be local to Houston or willing to work remotely with a strong local presence.
