General Ledger Staff Accountant

Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid - 3 Days In Office)

Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A growing, international organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its North America Finance Team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role offers exposure to unique revenue streams, complex accounting processes, and a highly collaborative team environment. Responsibilities

• Reconcile settlements and research variances
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close activities and general ledger accounting
• Maintain schedules, including sales tax and royalty reporting
• Support external audits and compliance requests
• Partner with operations to understand business activities and financial impacts
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 0-3 years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience or internship highly preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus (Even better if D365)
• Cost accounting experience is a plus
