Associate Attorney

Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney with 2-5 years of employment civil litigation experience who can independently manage a litigation caseload while collaborating with a supportive legal team.

The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, excellent client communication abilities, and experience handling employment-related civil litigation matters from inception through trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 10-15 litigation cases .
• Oversee 20-30 pre-litigation files .
• Draft complaints, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Handle written discovery and discovery-related matters.
• Draft and argue motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case updates and strategy.
• Supervise and direct legal support staff.
• Perform other litigation-related responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
• 2-5 years of Employment Civil Litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience managing litigation matters from filing through resolution.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a legal team.
• Experience supervising or working closely with legal support staff is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

• Base salary: $120,000 - $160,000+ , depending on experience.
• Opportunity for performance-based commission after one year.
