What You'll Do: Teach credit and non-credit HVACR courses using practical instruction, demonstrations, and assessments. Train students to use tools, equipment, and supplies safely and follow proper HVACR procedures. Develop course materials and work with colleagues to improve curriculum and student learning. Advise, tutor, and mentor students; provide timely feedback and connect them with support when needed. Help students explore employment, certification, and further education opportunities. Build relationships with industry partners to support student placement and training opportunities. Maintain safe, operational instructional equipment and accurate course records. Participate in recruitment events, committees, professional development, and other college activities. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. EPA Universal certification. At least five years of HVACR field experience. Knowledge and ability to teach a variety of HVACR courses. Strong communication, organization, computer, and instructional skills—and a student-centered approach.
