Description: Commercial Properties Maintenance Tech$40.00 Per Hour

Location: Juneau , Alaska

Pay: $40 Per Hour

Schedule: M-F, Days

Summary:

Commercial Properties Maintenance Tech

Performs necessary maintenance repairs and preventative maintenancethroughout the Property's portfolio.
This requires the utilization of skills normally associated withcarpentry, plumbing, welding, electrical, masonry and related
property and facility maintenance trades, in order to ensure the propermaintenance and repair of assets.
The nature of the work requires that many duties be performedindependently, requiring the Maintenance Technician to be responsible forapplying discretion in both determining proper work methods and inanalyzing preventative maintenance needs.
Likewise, the ideal Maintenance Technician is also a teamplayer who offers support to fellow team members when necessary.
The Maintenance Technician continually strives to increasehis/her working knowledge of the properties and the skills required toperform various tasks.
Aside from technical skills, the ideal Maintenance Technicianpossesses the interpersonal skills necessary to conduct business in amanner that attracts and retains tenants.

Requirements

Commercial Properties Maintenance Tech

Must have at least 5 years maintenance experience or experience in related field required.
Valid Alaska Driver's License.
Possession of a functional, insured vehicle.
Ability to be insured by company's auto insurance.
Desired greater experience and skills in one or more of the following trades: building construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, and auto mechanics preferred.
Complete background check and drug screening is required for this job.
