JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Assistant Specialty: Plastic Surgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Boston, MA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Sep 01, 2026 - Dec 01, 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri, 6a - 6:30pm (3 x 12hr shifts per week, typically Wed - Fri with flexibility for Mon/Tue) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: 10 patients/day FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 90+ days JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active MA license Board: Board Certified Experience: 1-2 years experience DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform history and physical examinations (H&Ps) Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests Order medications and write prescriptions Perform bedside procedures as appropriate Manage and assess therapeutic interventions, develop plan of care and ongoing evaluation
