TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is seeking a hands‑on General Manager to lead our Manchester, NH location. This is an opportunity for a motivated leader to take ownership of a growing operation, develop employees, improve profitability, and create an exceptional customer experience.

This role is ideal for candidates with leadership experience in moving and storage, transportation, logistics, construction, field services, warehousing, home services, or other labor‑intensive operations.

What You'll Do

Lead Daily Operations

• Oversee all aspects of branch performance, including sales, operations, staffing, customer service, and profitability
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results
• Ensure operational excellence and compliance with company standards
• Manage scheduling, fleet utilization, and workforce planning

Recruit, Develop & Retain Employees

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train movers, drivers, and office staff
• Build a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, safety, and customer service
• Coach employees through regular performance conversations and development plans
• Create career growth opportunities that support employee retention

Drive Revenue Growth

• Monitor sales activity and conversion performance
• Develop relationships within the local community to generate new business opportunities
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, increase revenue, and reduce costs
• Partner with team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences that drive referrals and repeat business

Lead From the Front

• Maintain a visible presence throughout the operation
• Support the team during peak periods and operational challenges
• Make informed decisions quickly while maintaining a positive and professional work environment
• Take ownership of branch performance and continuously seek opportunities for improvement

What We're Looking For

• Previous leadership, operations management, or business management experience
• Experience leading hourly workforces and managing employee performance
• Strong recruiting, hiring, and team development skills
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and drive operational improvements
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast‑moving environment
• Valid driver's license
