Accounting Coordinator

Responsibilities Working with other members of the accounting department to compile, analyze, and report financial data. Making journal or ledger entries. Act as a point of contact between internal departments and accounting, serving as a liaison between accounting and external parties, including clients, suppliers, and lenders. Staying current on the company, local, state, and federal financial regulations and policies. Generating and sending accurate, timely invoices to clients. Posting payments (checks, ACH, credit card) to customer accounts and reconciling the AR ledger. Reviewing aging reports, calling or emailing customers regarding overdue invoices, and negotiating payment plans. Investigating short payments, unauthorized deductions, or disputed invoices. Qualifications Previous experience in accounting, finance, or clerical work, often 1–3 years in a similar role, and industry Familiarity with basic bookkeeping, debits/credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
