Food Safety & Brand Specialist

Food Safety Specialist Position pays $18-$24 per hour. Responsibilities Conduct assessments that measure conformity to regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards for hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients. Observe food preparation and cooking standards to ensure food safety, health, and sanitation practices. Partner with clients to address root causes of assessment discrepancies and develop corrective action plans. Teach and coach clients on creating safer and healthier workplace environments for staff and customers. Travel 50%–70% (or 8–10 days per month), including some evening and weekend work. Conduct audits and inspections. Implement and monitor food safety training and education. Investigate food safety incidents. Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain documentation and records. Influence others with tact and skill, provide clear constructive feedback in a positive manner. Thrive in an autonomous working environment, organizing and prioritizing work based on urgency, efficiency, and other factors. Qualifications Strong technical knowledge of food safety (preferred). Ability to influence others, provide constructive feedback, and work autonomously. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Valid driver’s license from state of residence. Strong knowledge of food safety, ServSafe and/or CP‑FS certification preferred (certificate(s) a plus). Excellent listening, organization, communication, and time‑management skills.
