The Experience

You have 5+ years of experience in technical resilience, business resilience, enterprise security, or a related discipline within a global, matrixed technology organization. You bring hands-on experience with resilience engineering practices including disaster recovery (DR) testing, observability, safe change, and availability management, ideally across complex, multi-domain technology estates. You're fluent in applying generative AI and large language models (LLMs), or automation tools, to optimize engineering or operational workflows. Familiarity with Agentforce Platform and other AI products is a strong plus. You've operated within structured governance frameworks such as Enterprise Resilience Boards (ERBs) or Technical Resilience Groups (TRGs), and you're comfortable translating technical findings into executive-ready reporting. Your written communication is excellent and you can synthesize complex technical findings into crisp, accurate briefs for senior stakeholders and board-level audiences. Please note, this is an individual contributor role.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Serve as the internal driver of the Technical Resilience Group (TRG) operating cadence, translating governance recommendations into repeatable, auditable processes reported to the Enterprise Resilience Board (ERB).
• Partner with Digital Enterprise Technology, Technology & Product Engineering, Information Security, and other stakeholder domain leads to establish consistent recovery time objective/recovery point objective (RTO/RPO) definitions, reporting standards, and issue resolution workflows across stakeholder domains.
• Work with stakeholder teams to drive prioritized and risk-based exercising practices targeted at drawing down resilience risk and continuously improving technical resilience and broader operational resilience.
• Operationalize automated feedback and after-action review (AAR) pipelines, using LLM-assisted parsing tools to translate qualitative post-exercise findings into measurable, trackable improvements.
• Lead ongoing external benchmarking of Salesforce's technical resilience exercising posture against SOC 2, Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), and peer enterprise standards and compliance frameworks (in coordination with internal governance, risk and compliance stakeholders and customer-facing security teams), ensuring the program remains audit-ready and competitive.

• You have direct, hands-on experience with developing, establishing and maintaining technical resilience practices across complex, multi-domain technology environments.
• You've applied generative AI, LLMs, or automation tools to optimize engineering or operational workflows.
• You have experience designing or operating within structured governance frameworks, with the ability to translate technical findings into executive-ready reporting.
• You communicate clearly and concisely, synthesizing complex technical topics for senior and board-level audiences.
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), or similar industry certification

Even Better If...

• You're familiar with regulatory and certification frameworks and standards including SOC 2, DORA, NIST and related cloud/infrastructure audit standards.
• You've driven adoption of enterprise resilience, IT service management (ITSM), or governance, risk, and compliance platforms across decentralized teams.
• You've collaborated with external advisory firms and owned the internal follow-through on externally produced recommendations.
• Additional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure/GCP equivalents) or exposure to multi-cloud environments

The typical base salary range for this position is $143,400 - $216,900 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $172,200 - $236,700 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
