Our client is actively seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join their team, facilitating new customer start-ups and ensuring the successful execution of complex healthcare and medical life science projects. The role demands direct interaction with customers, architects, engineers, contractors, and various stakeholders to streamline the project from inception to completion. This position is based in either Atlanta, GA, or Orlando, FL, and involves remote work with frequent travel to client sites across the Southeastern United States. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate new customer start-ups under the direction of the Operations Manager, acting as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders. Perform regular site visits during construction renovations to ensure adherence to scope and quality standards. Drive projects to completion within the contracted budget, understanding the nuances of each customer agreement. Collaborate closely with the operations director, assisting in site preparation, including accepting deliveries and installing equipment at new client sites. Commit to extensive travel for on-site management, customer meetings, project oversight, planning, bidding, and construction supervision. Engage in quality improvement processes, provide regular progress updates, and demonstrate support for corporate policies and decisions. Maintain confidentiality regarding business and patient information, effectively instruct new employees, and uphold professional standards. Qualifications: A minimum of five years of experience in construction project management, with a track record of improving work routines and successfully completing projects. Exceptional communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills. Professionalism to handle conflicts, emergencies, and the adaptability to manage change. Proficiency in reading construction drawings, managing schedules, and using Excel. Capability to manage multi-phase projects and conduct professional interactions with healthcare professionals. Proficiency with desktop computers, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Preferred: Experience in healthcare facilities construction. Familiarity with CAD. An associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
