Production OperatorPosition at Autocar, LLCAutocar is looking for individuals that thrive in a team-based environment, for a company focused on attaining goals. The primary responsibility of the Production Operator will be to function in self-directed work groups/teams, responsible for the productive operation of the Assembly line.Job Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDOver one year of experience in a vehicle manufacturing/industrial environment preferredA solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to open and read a Bill of MaterialsThe ability to read and interpret technical drawings; Demonstrated mechanical aptitudePerform backflushes correctly and insure the 5s is followedEnsure quality control is metHelp gather relevant data for part shortages and repetitive defectsProvide Feedback to supervisors and QCParticipate in root cause problem solvingTrain new employees to meet expectations in assigned workstationsBe able to oversee or perform installations outside of the standard conditionsBe able to perform the work at four stations within the department or other departmentsWORK CONDITIONS: Standard manufacturing plant environment with moderate noise level.
