Description
ORO Publicidad is seeking an Entry Level Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Mountain View. This full-time, remote position offers an excellent opportunity to begin your career in quality assurance within the dynamic Marketing, Advertising, and Sales industry.
As a Quality Assurance Tester at ORO Publicidad, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products and advertising platforms. You will work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify issues, verify functionality, and help deliver seamless experiences to our clients and their audiences.
We offer a competitive salary range of $151,000 - $172,000 yearly, along with the flexibility of remote work and the chance to grow your skills in a collaborative, creative environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using issue tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing features remain functional
- Review and provide feedback on user stories and acceptance criteria
- Assist in creating and maintaining test plans and test documentation
- Verify fixes and validate reported issues before closure
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts
- Report testing progress and results to supervisors and stakeholders
- Stay updated on QA best practices, tools, and methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques and bug reporting tools
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Basic knowledge of web and mobile application testing
- Willingness to learn automation testing tools and frameworks
- Preferred: Experience with test management tools such as Jira or TestRail
- Preferred: Exposure to agile development environments
