Maintenance Technician

Location: Streator, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician Helper to support maintenance operations in an industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates with previous machinery experience and a strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
• Identify and report equipment issues to maintenance technicians and supervisors
• Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and repairs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
• Follow company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or manufacturing experience required
• Experience working with machinery preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Willingness to learn and assist with a variety of maintenance tasks
• Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
