Drywall Project ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Drywall Project Manager to lead commercial drywall and exterior/interior insulation finish system (EIF/EIFS) projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate combines hands-on drywall knowledge with project management skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality and safety standards. This role will coordinate field crews and subcontractors, liaise with clients and general contractors, and support estimating and business development activities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple commercial drywall and EIF/EIFS projects simultaneously from pre-construction, through installation, to project closeout.Prepare, review, and maintain project budgets and schedules; monitor costs and resource allocation to meet financial targets.Develop accurate takeoffs and estimates or support the estimating team with scope review and pricing assumptions.Coordinate and supervise onsite field crews and subcontractors, ensuring workmanship meets specifications and project plans.Implement and enforce quality control processes and safety protocols (including OSHA standards) on all job sites.Serve as the primary client/GC contact for project status, progress meetings, RFIs and change orders; maintain strong client relationships and responsiveness.Oversee procurement of materials and equipment to ensure availability and cost efficiency while minimizing delays.Review and approve subcontractor scopes, contracts and invoices; manage change orders and resolve disputes efficiently.Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, schedules, meeting minutes, submittals and closeout packages.Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to support bid preparation, site walks and value engineering opportunities.Qualifications2+ years of project management experience in commercial drywall or interior/exterior finishing trades.Proven estimating experience or background as an estimator with the ability to produce or validate takeoffs and budgets.Hands-on knowledge of drywall systems, acoustical ceilings, metal framing, and EIF/EIFS installation methods and materials.Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, contract administration and change order management.Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising crews and managing subcontractors on commercial sites.Excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills; able to represent the company in meetings and resolve issues proactively.Proficiency with construction management and estimating software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar).Working knowledge of building codes, inspections, and quality assurance processes; OSHA 30 or equivalent preferred.Valid drivers license and ability to travel to multiple job sites; ability to work in field conditions.Relevant technical degree, certification, or trade background is preferred but not required; certifications in project management or construction safety are a plus.BenefitsSalary $90-120k baseMedical, Dental, Vision401k w/ matchAnnual bonusPTOHoliday payVehicle allowanceESOP
