Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (as required by state or national standards)
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5 preferred)
• Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Skilled in assessment, intervention, and crisis management strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver psychological assessments and interpret results for student support planning
• Participate in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Offer counseling, consultation, and short-term intervention for students in need
• Support teachers and administration with best practices in behavior management and social-emotional learning
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
• Collaborate on strategies to promote inclusive, positive school culture

With a start date of August 31, 2026, and an end date of June 17, 2027, you'll work 34 hours per week across 5 days. The number of students on your caseload will be determined to ensure a manageable workload and effective support.
