Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse to support patient care within a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality nursing services in a Labor and Delivery department, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns during the childbirth process.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for delivering specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring the safety of both mother and baby.
- Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided, recent (within the last 3 years) 1-year full-time equivalent experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Schedule: Days shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field, five or more years of recent (within the last two years) high-risk labor and delivery experience, and High Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have prior experience in high-risk labor and delivery settings, with certification in ACLS.
