USU Eastern is seeking a dependable and motivated PartTime Grounds Employee to assist with the upkeep and appearance of campus grounds. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is physically capable, and is willing to assist other departments as needed. Responsibilities

- Mow lawns and maintain turf areas
- Trim grass, shrubs, and landscaped areas
- Edge sidewalks, curbs, and landscaped borders
- Pull weeds and assist with general landscape maintenance
- Empty and maintain outdoor trash and recycling receptacles
- Assist with seasonal cleanup, including leaf removal and debris cleanup
- Operate basic groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist other campus departments with tasks or projects as needed
- Help with Motor pool & Mail when needed
- Follow safety procedures and campus policies at all times
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Previous groundskeeping or maintenance experience preferred but not required
