We are currently seeking a Environmental Waste Technician / Forklift Operator for a hands-on industrial environment. This position requires a motivated individual who is comfortable performing physical labor, operating powered industrial equipment (PIE), and working safely around industrial waste materials.$23-$28/hourWeekly PayTeam-Oriented EnvironmentOperate a forklift (PIE) to transport and manage waste materials throughout the facilityDump industrial waste into designated containersCrush and process 55-gallon drumsPunch and drain aerosol cans following safety proceduresHandle and manage used coolant and other waste streamsCollect and dispose of facility trash and debrisRecord and track drum weights accuratelyMove, stack, and handle empty palletsMaintain a clean and organized environmental waste areaPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:Previous forklift/PIE operating experience requiredAbility to safely work in an industrial environmentComfortable performing physically demanding, hands-on labor throughout the shiftStrong attention to detail when recording weights and handling materialsAbility to follow safety procedures and company policiesReliable attendance and strong work ethicRequirements:Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials throughout the shiftMust be comfortable working indoors and outdoors as neededPrevious experience working with industrial waste, recycling, environmental services, or general labor is a plusPay Details: $23.10 to $28.87 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
