Human Resources Manager

Position Overview Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year. Shift: First. Work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM. Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree. Responsibilities Construction Payroll & Tax Reporting Manage the end-to-end weekly/bi‑weekly construction payroll processing for field technicians, trade laborers, and administrative staff using Infor software. Oversee and file Form 941 (Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return), ensuring flawless accuracy with federal withholdings, FICA taxes, and wage matching. Manage multi‑rate structures, prevailing wage/Davis‑Bacon compliance, and certified payroll reports where required by specific construction contracts. ESOP & Benefits Administration Serve as the internal point of contact for our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), helping track eligibility, coordinating annual allocations, and communicating the value of ownership to staff. Administer all company health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans, including open enrollment, renewals, and billing reconciliation. Conduct employee education sessions regarding benefits and ESOP updates in both English and Spanish. HR Operations & Employee Relations Act as the primary HR resource for a diverse workforce, conducting onboarding, training, and employee relations fluidly in both English and Spanish. Partner with Safety Managers to ensure OSHA compliance, workers’ compensation tracking, and timely return-to-work processing for field staff. Handle dispute resolutions, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations fairly and legally.
