Diagnostic Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer to perform non-invasive imaging procedures in our Cardiac Graphics and Vascular Laboratories. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in breast imaging and perform a variety of scanning procedures across multiple body parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform all non-invasive imaging procedures including echocardiograms, TEE, TTE, stress echo, and vascular duplexes.
• Coordinate and prioritize patient scheduling to ensure timely procedure completion.
• Communicate with patients, providing information regarding procedures and addressing any questions politely.
• Notify medical staff of any variations in imaging results.
• Document procedures in the patient chart to keep physicians informed.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of equipment and work areas.
• Complete accurate billing documentation via EPIC.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to guidelines set by supervision.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Appropriate certification such as RDCS, RCS, RCCS, RVT, or RVS is required.
• Experience in breast imaging and scanning of various body parts is mandatory.
• BLS certification is also required.

Schedule

This position entails 8-hour rotating shifts that include days, afternoons, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.
