The General Manager will play a key role in leading the restaurant's day-to-day operation, developing a strong team, driving financial performance, and maintaining high standards for food, service, and guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys being on the floor, building relationships, and creating a strong restaurant culture.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading a high-volume restaurant, strong financial and operational skills, and a passion for developing people. This is an opportunity for a hospitality professional to take ownership of the operation and make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including FOH, BOH, service, staffing, and guest experience.
• Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing management and hourly team.
• Create a positive, accountable, and hospitality-driven restaurant culture.
• Maintain consistent standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.
• Manage labor, scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and other operating expenses.
• Analyze P&L performance and develop strategies to improve sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Drive sales through strong guest engagement, local relationship building, and community presence.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Recruit, train, onboard, and develop team members at all levels.
• Conduct regular manager meetings, performance reviews, and team training.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain strong communication with ownership and senior leadership.
• Lead by example and remain actively engaged with guests and employees during peak periods.
• Ensure the restaurant consistently delivers an exceptional overall dining experience.

Must-Have Skills :

• High-Volume Restaurant Operations – Proven experience managing a busy, full-service restaurant with strong execution across FOH, BOH, staffing, service, and daily operations.
• Team Leadership & Development – Strong ability to recruit, train, coach, and retain a high-performing team while creating a positive, accountable restaurant culture.
• P&L & Financial Management – Demonstrated experience managing labor, food costs, inventory, and other controllable expenses while driving sales and overall profitability.

Nice to Have Skills :

• High-Volume Southern / Casual Dining Experience – Experience in a high-volume, casual or Southern-style restaurant with a strong local guest following.
• Local Charleston Market Experience – Familiarity with the Charleston hospitality market and established relationships within the local restaurant community.
• Community & Sales Development – Experience building local partnerships, increasing repeat business, and driving sales through community involvement and guest engagement.
