Neurologist Position at Jefferson Health

The Department of Neurology at Jefferson Health, located in Center City Philadelphia on Walnut Street, is actively recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist for a full-time Assistant Professor position. This academic appointment will focus on clinical care, education, and research within a leading healthcare institution and medical college.

Job Description

• Provide exceptional inpatient and outpatient neurology care at Jefferson Health facilities.
• Supervise and teach neurology residents and medical students.
• Participate in departmental academic and research initiatives.
• Contribute to program development and interdisciplinary clinical collaboration.
• Attend regular faculty meetings, conferences, and Grand Rounds.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Commitment to academic medicine, including education and/or research.

Preferred Experience:

• Fellowship training in a neurology subspecialty (e.g., epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, neurocritical care, etc.) is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical teaching or scholarly activity.
