Job Description

This role focuses on assembling garbage trucks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will use your mechanical aptitude to follow detailed work instructions, work with various tools, and support warehouse inventory and kitting activities to ensure high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble garbage trucks and related components according to work instructions and production standards.
• Read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and kitting programs to complete assigned tasks accurately.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
• Measure and align parts using a tape measure and other basic measuring tools to ensure proper fit and function.
• Support kitting activities by gathering, organizing, and preparing parts and materials for assembly.
• Work with inventory within the warehouse, including locating, handling, and returning parts as needed.
• Inspect work for accuracy and quality, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

Work Environment

This position is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility. You will work in a hands-on production environment that involves standing, moving, and handling parts and tools throughout the shift. The role includes regular interaction with warehouse inventory, kitting areas, and assembly stations, with a focus on safety and efficient production flow.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LaFayette, GA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in LaFayette,GA.
