About the Role

\n

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the construction and delivery of leased data center facilities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong construction project management experience who can independently manage multiple priorities, projects, schedules, and deadlines.

\n

\n

This role will serve as a key point of contact between the construction/lease provider team and internal project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Manage construction activities and deliverables for leased data center facilities through Ready for Service (RFS).
\n
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the lease provider, contractors, and internal project stakeholders.
\n
• Conduct regular site walks to monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and overall project execution.
\n
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, security, environmental health & safety, and other project stakeholders.
\n
• Manage lease providers and construction partners to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project standards.
\n
• Attend and participate in Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings and other construction/project meetings.
\n
• Track project scope, schedule, budget, risks, milestones, and deliverables.
\n
• Prepare and provide weekly project status reports covering progress, schedule, budget, risks, and key issues.
\n
• Review construction schedules, identify potential delays, and drive corrective actions.
\n
• Facilitate decision-making, resolve project issues, and manage changes throughout the construction lifecycle.
\n
• Apply strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to drive project outcomes.
\n
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and share lessons learned across projects.
\n
• Ensure construction activities are performed in accordance with safety requirements and applicable standards.
\n
• Work independently while supporting the broader project delivery team.

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
\n
• 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably supporting data centers or mission-critical facilities.
\n
• 5+ years of project scheduling experience.
\n
• Experience managing large, multi-faceted construction projects.
\n
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contractors, schedules, and project deliverables.
\n
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
\n
• Experience working in an active construction/site environment.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience with data center construction and critical infrastructure.
\n
• Familiarity with data center cooling/mechanical systems.
\n
• Experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
\n
• PMP certification.
\n
• LEED certification.
\n
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
\n
• Degree or professional experience in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
\n
• Ability to read and understand commercial lease agreements and construction-related contracts.
\n

Salary and Other Compensation:

\n

The salary for this position is between $160,000 - $180,000 USD annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
