Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Utilizing radiography and CT methodologies to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for physician evaluation
- Collaborating closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to facilitate accurate diagnostics
- Calibrating imaging equipment and positioning patients to optimize image quality
- Upholding radiation safety protocols to safeguard both patients and staff
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance records
- Providing compassionate care and support to patients throughout their imaging experience
- Fostering a safe and organized environment for efficient imaging operations
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Completion of an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is essential
- Current BLS certification or the ability to secure it within 90 days of employment
- In-depth knowledge of imaging protocols and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills when interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Capability to adapt in a fast-paced setting and respond effectively to changing circumstances
- Attention to detail coupled with a proactive attitude towards accountability
- Comfortable using PACS, RIS, and the latest imaging technologies
