Laborers and Helpers – Tampa, FL, US Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly Company Summary AGT is a solar contractor specializing in the design, procurement, and construction (EPC) of commercial, industrial, and utility‑scale solar energy projects for clients in Florida and the Caribbean. Established in 2007, AGT is an experienced, award‑winning contractor completing more than 250+ Megawatts of renewable energy solutions across many market segments including private business, education, defense, government, manufacturing, and local utility companies. Key Responsibilities Checks electrical units for loose connections Measures and cuts wires and conduits Drills holes for electrical hook‑ups Assists electrician by providing tools needed on the job Helps with the daily power down of project and storage of electrical equipment Follows safety protocols Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required Education High School Degree or GED Experience 1 to 2 years on the job training in a similar role Prior electrical experience preferred Skills & Requirements Minimum 18 years of age Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record Successful Pre‑Employment Drug and Agility tests Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall Ability to lift 100 LBS or more Ability to decipher between different colors of wiring Ability to use basic electrical hand tools (pliers, electrician scissors, wire strippers, etc) Ability to use electrical equipment like thermal scanners, circuit tracers and multimeters Working Conditions | Environment | Special Requirements Full time onsite Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
