Pediatric Oncology APRN/PA - Inpatient Float (No Nights)

CHOC Children's Specialists, 1201 West La Veta Ave., Orange, California, United States of America Oncology – Advanced Practice Provider‑Inpatient Float Position CHOC Specialists, in conjunction with Rady Children’s Health‑Orange County, is seeking a qualified advanced practice pediatric oncology provider. The provider will function in a supportive role as a clinical expert managing pediatric oncology patients within a family‑centered care environment. Under the direction of the Attending Physician and following established procedures, the provider will evaluate, diagnose, and treat oncology patients in an outpatient setting, assist in developing and implementing plans of care in the outpatient clinic or infusion center (OPI), and collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team while providing consultation and education to patients and families. Inpatient Pediatric Oncology (Full Time, Float) 100% Inpatient 4 × 10‑hour shifts (includes weekend & holiday work) No call, no nights Procedures required Salary & full benefits Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric oncology patients in outpatient and inpatient settings. Develop and implement individualized plans of care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team. Provide consultation and education to patients and families. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Qualifications California‑licensed and certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. At least two years of bedside experience in direct oncology care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. One year of clinical PA/Nurse Practitioner experience desired but not mandatory. Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and education, as well as position requirements.
