RN – Med/Surg (Contract)

Location: California 93561
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Pay: $1,816 – $2,041/week

Schedule

• Day Shift (12-hour shifts)

• 36-hour guarantee (3x12s)

• Option to pick up additional shifts based on census

• Rotating weekends

• Set schedules + additional open shift opportunities

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide Med/Surg nursing care using nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate)

• Manage patient assignments (MS/Swing 1:5, Tele 1:4)

• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and support staff as needed

• Administer medications/treatments and monitor patient outcomes

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient flow (including ED holds if needed)

• Educate patients/families and ensure safe, compliant care delivery

Requirements

• Education & Experience:

  • BSN – Preferred

  • Acute care experience – Preferred

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • Active California RN License – Required

  • BLS – Required

  • ACLS – Required

Additional Information

• Vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may apply)

• May be placed on-call for up to 4 shift call-offs
