Family Law Attorney - Senior Associate

Role Description This full-time Family Law Attorney – Senior Associate role is a hybrid position based in Boca Raton, FL, with some flexibility to work from home. The Senior Associate will manage a caseload of complex family law matters, including dissolution of marriage, high net worth equitable distribution, parental responsibility and timesharing, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and related financial and support issues. Daily responsibilities include advising clients, conducting and responding to discovery, drafting pleadings, motions, agreements, financial affidavits, and memoranda, and preparing comprehensive case strategies. The role involves appearing at and fully conducting hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials, as well as collaborating closely with partners, other attorneys, paralegals, and outside professionals such as forensic accountants and mental health experts. The Senior Associate is also expected to contribute to client development, uphold the firm’s high standards of professionalism, and maintain meticulous case documentation and time records. Qualifications Licensed to practice law in Florida, in good standing, with significant family law experience (senior associate level or comparable); Florida Bar Board Certification in Marital & Family Law is preferred or a strong interest in pursuing certification. Proven expertise in complex family law matters, including high net worth divorce, business and asset valuation issues, support and alimony analysis, and sophisticated parenting and timesharing arrangements. Strong litigation skills, including motion practice, evidentiary hearings, depositions, and trials; and effective courtroom advocacy, as well as experience with mediation and alternative dispute resolution. Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing abilities, with a track record of drafting clear, persuasive pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements. High level of work ethic, intellectual ams emotional intelligence, professionalism, discretion, and ethical judgment, especially in handling sensitive, confidential client matters and high-profile or high net worth clients. Excellent client communication and counseling skills, including the ability to manage expectations, provide practical guidance, and maintain strong client relationships under stressful circumstances.
