About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ER Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12.5 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience; must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment License: Active RN license or eligible for emergency RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS required Must-Have: Must have at least 2 solid years of experience in a large Emergency Department. Candidates interested in 48-hour shifts preferred; consideration for 36-hour shifts will be made as well. CPI training will be provided on-site. Description: We are seeking an experienced ER RN for a travel assignment on the night shift. This assignment is for an 8-week duration with the possibility of extension. The working hours are from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including a 30-minute lunch break. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, full-spectrum Emergency Department. The department serves patients of all ages and includes a locked behavioral health unit. The patient population includes all ages from birth through end of life, predominantly adults. Occasional pediatric patients may be encountered, as a Level 1 pediatric trauma center is nearby. Candidates should be prepared for a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
