Machine Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Shift & Compensation Shift: 1st, Monday – Friday 6:30am – 2:30pm. Compensation: $25.00 – $26.00 hourly, eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. Base pay varies with experience and internal equity. Job Duties • Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. • Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts and adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary. • Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs, and returns equipment to specifications. • Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet special needs. • Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues. Basic Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Minimum 2 years of machine maintenance experience. Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment. Use of basic hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of machine tools and their use. Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs. Preferred Qualifications HS/GED education. Minimum 3 years of machine maintenance experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.
