Systems Support SpecialistRutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Systems Support Specialist to support business and technology projects and programs within University Finance and Administration (UFA). Reporting to the Director of Systems, Operations, and Support (SOS), this role plays a crucial part in leading procurement-focused initiatives, conducting business and technical analysis, documenting functional requirements, designing optimized process workflows, and driving end-to-end project implementation. The position directly supports operations managed by SOS for University Procurement Services. Additionally, the incumbent conducts targeted research and gathers industry best practices to enhance efficiency, data integrity, and automation across various functional areas within procurement operations.Among the key duties of this position are the following:Leads and supports procurement-focused business and technical initiatives primarily in but not necessarily limited to Procurement, through all phases of the project lifecycle from project charter and requirements through user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and post-implementation support, ensuring alignment with University Procurement Services priorities and objectives.Manages recurring procurement processes and operational programs by coordinating stakeholder alignment, monitoring timelines, resolving process and systemic issues, and tracking key operational metrics to drive continuous process improvement.Partners with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to conduct discovery workshops, analyze complex business needs, and translate them into actionable functional requirement specifications that support new business capabilities, compliance, and efficiency.Develops and maintains comprehensive project documentation, business process maps, and clear campus-user communications to ensure seamless knowledge transfer, reliable system execution, and strong stakeholder alignment.Conducts targeted research, data analysis, and benchmarking of procurement industry trends, supply chain best practices, and emerging technologies to support business decision-making and innovation.FLSA - ExemptGrade - 05Salary Details - Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, up to a maximum hiring salary of $81,360Minimum Salary - 68278.480Mid Range Salary - 84393.980Maximum Salary - 100509.480Benefits - Rutgers provides a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees.
