Scrum Master

Job Title

Mandatory Skills:

• Scrum Alliance CSM CSP certification or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP)
• Knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum techniques
• Experience working in Finance Services

Job Responsibilities:

• Proven experience and success working as a Scrum Master or in a similar role facilitating agile teams, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including both Scrum and Kanban.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills to inspire and motivate team members.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in using agile project management tools - JIRA for managing backlogs and tracking progress.
• High level of organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Facilitates Agile processes including sprint iteration planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint demo and retrospectives and release planning
• Ensures user stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and all related documentation are timely and complete, supporting development, testing, and user acceptance activities
• Support risk and issue identification, and mitigation activities with the agile team including raising those in a proactive and professional fashion, when appropriate
• Facilitates periodic Reviews and Retrospectives by tracking report status through consistent, standardized dashboards and metric reporting
• Improve transparency and visibility across the Client organization within and outside of the team
• Build a safe and trusting environment where conflicts can be managed effectively and professionally
