These connection platforms enable the collaboration needed to rapidly bring these therapies to market. Through strategic content delivery, data‑driven insight, and a platform built for genuine engagement, we help suppliers reach and build relationships with buyers across the full life sciences ecosystem—from early drug discovery through development, clinical trials, manufacturing, and commercialization. By aligning visibility and intent with action, we help clients connect their brand media investment to demand generation and sales pipeline and position themselves to influence the market in ways that create lasting impact. Position OverviewThe Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is an immersive, structured development experience designed to train and grow the next generation of business development professionals committed to a long‑term career in sales.
SDRs receive hands‑on training in the core elements of new business development, client outreach, and account engagement. You will learn the market, understand our value proposition, master the fundamentals of new business acquisition, and develop the skills required to successfully progress into our Business Development Manager, Commercial Accounts role.
This opportunity is a focused sales career path with progressive responsibilities, measurable performance milestones, and clear advancement expectations. Key Responsibilities
• Develop a foundational understanding of Life Science Connect’s platforms, client offerings, and the life sciences ecosystem.
• Support sales team members in prospecting, lead generation, and appointment‑setting activities.
• Execute targeted outreach campaigns under the guidance of senior sales leaders.
• Participate in regular training, coaching, and feedback sessions to deepen your sales skills.
• Gain exposure to key client conversations, strategic planning, and performance measurement.
• Demonstrate growth in communication, business acumen, and sales proficiency through defined program milestones. Required Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in one of the following areas:
Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Science, Chemistry)
Business‑related fields (e.g., Business, Marketing, Communications)
• Clear commitment to a long‑term career in sales or business development.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a fast‑paced, learning‑oriented environment.
• Prior internship or work experience in marketing, sales, or life sciences preferred but not required.

Program Structure & Career Growth Path The SDR development program includes structured training, hands‑on experience, mentorship, and regular performance checkpoints. Upon successful completion of the SDR program, team members have a clear promotion pathway into the Business Development Manager, Commercial Accounts role, where they take a leading position in new business acquisition within the commercial accounts segment.
