Current / Previous Experience: Current or previous experience in asset protection, security, military, or law enforcement is preferred. A plus for such experience. Responsibilities: Visually inspect building exterior/parking lot to ensure potential hazards are mitigated. Conduct walking inspections of backroom and sales floor. Review cashier exception reports. Conduct internal theft surveillance. Review theft activity reports and follow up as needed. Conduct shoplifting surveillance. Report safety hazards to store leadership for resolution. Test and inspect camera equipment for effective operation. Review alarm system for suspicious activity. Participate in apprehension of violators and assist in prosecution of external theft cases. Engage in extensive documentation and report writing, ensuring required documentation is complete and incident history includes pertinent facts for potential litigation. Testify in criminal or civil court proceedings. Adhere to all safety practices, principles, guidelines and policies, practicing 200% safety accountability. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months experience in security or at least 1 year of work experience.
