Structural Engineer – Buildings
Position Overview
We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 2–10 years of experience in building design to support structural analysis, design, and construction documentation for a variety of building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood building systems.
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project teams.
- Apply applicable building codes, design standards, and engineering best practices.
- Review shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFIs, and assist with construction administration.
- Conduct site visits and evaluate existing structures as needed.
- Support project coordination, quality control, and timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 2–10 years of structural engineering experience, preferably in building design.
- EIT certification or PE license preferred.
- Knowledge of building codes and structural design standards.
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA, RAM, ETABS, or similar programs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred.
- Strong technical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
