Tool and Die Technician

Tool And Die TechnicianTool & Die Technician Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Tool & Die Technician. The primary job function is the support of tooling throughout any department in the plant and provide machining services for all manufacturing departments. This is a 2nd Shift Position; Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am.What you will be doing:Coordinate with departments on tooling and machining issues.Manage tooling personnel within the department.Track job time.Troubleshoot tooling in the press or mill.CNC programming and operation (EDM, lathe, mill.)Tool Design and fabrication.Mastercam programming.Work with maintenance to decrease downtime on equipment.The skills and experience you need:High school diploma/trade school preferred.Preferred Journeyman status.5-7 years' experience with progressive/compound/pierce and draw dies.Lean and 5S TrainingExperience with tube/roll mills.Tool Design-Dies/FixturesOperate CNC mills and lathes.Wire EDM operation and programming.Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues.AutoCAD/Solidworks.This role is located in Tulsa, OK.
