Apply today!The Lead Machinist is responsible for Mastercam programming, CNC operations, and has strong knowledge of tools and machining techniques. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to fixture work creatively, and familiarity with AI-assisted machining software.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC machines (Haas lathe and 5-axis milling)Utilize Mastercam and CAM Assist or other AI software for machining processesEnsure precision and quality by selecting the appropriate tooling for lathes and millsDevelop creative work-holding solutions to improve efficiency and accuracyPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinesRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specificationsMaintain a safe and organized work environmentIt is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications2+ years of CNC experience (Haas lathe and 5-axis milling)Proficiency in Mastercam for programming and setupManual lathe and milling experience preferred, but not requiredStrong knowledge of tooling and machining techniquesAbility to work independently and lead by exampleWorking ConditionsThe Lead Machinist will be in an air-conditioned warehouse environment.This role has a comp range between $65,000 and $85,000.Physical requirements include talking, Hearing, Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling, driving, sitting, and lifting.What We ProvideCompetitive PayEmployee Company Ownership OpportunitiesIndustry Leading Training ProgramsLeadership Development and Career Growth TracksComprehensive and Affordable Benefits PackageTop Workplace with Award Winning Culture #J-18808-Ljbffr Groundworks
