Make an immediate impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language services at a supportive elementary campus in the St. Louis area. This contract opportunity spans from now through late May 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek with the possibility of contributing at one or two local schools as needs arise. The caseload primarily includes students using AAC devices, with a focus on non-verbal communication support. Both SLPs and SLPAs are invited to apply—your dedication and adaptability will be valued here.

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies for supporting non-verbal students
• Willingness to adapt to shifting caseloads and locations as district needs evolve
• Successful district fingerprinting (TCN required) and completion of technology paperwork

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students, supporting their communication and educational goals
• Manage a caseload totaling approximately 3400 service minutes, collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
• Document student progress and communicate outcomes with key stakeholders
• Travel between up to two assigned schools if needed
• Provide consultations and recommendations for augmentative and alternative communication
• Complete all district- and state-required documentation and credentialing processes
