Medical City Heart & Spine Nuclear Medicine Technician – Full Time, Monday‑Friday, 7AM‑3:30PM We are looking for an enthusiastic Nuclear Medicine Technician to help us reach our goals. Job Summary Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures. Performs at a technical level requiring a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis. Performs tests for in‑patients and out‑patients. Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment. Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in the Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice. Demonstrates industry knowledge in radiation safety. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of a CAHEA‑accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred. MTR State of Texas license required. ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification. NMTCB PET certification preferred. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.
