As a Security Officer Patrol in Marion, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. In a role built on teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach, you will help create a welcoming presence while responding to site needs with agility and reliability.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.23 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and Allied Universal standards within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details in required reports.
• Support emergency response activities according to post orders, including assisting with evacuations, restricted area control, and communication with site personnel and/or first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
