About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Specialty Clinic for a 13-week contract opportunity in Moab, Utah. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across multiple medical specialties in an outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities

Assess patients, perform triage, obtain health histories, and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
Triage incoming patient calls and provide appropriate guidance within RN scope of practice.
Administer medications and vaccinations and assist providers with examinations and procedures.
Educate patients and families, coordinate care, and communicate effectively with providers and interdisciplinary team members.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record and support quality, safety, and infection prevention practices.

Requirements

Current, Unencumbered Utah Registered Nurse License or Active Compact RN License Required.
Less Than 1 Year of Experience Accepted; Previous Outpatient Experience in Family Practice, Surgical, GYN, or Similar Settings Preferred.
Strong Patient Assessment, Triage, Critical Thinking, and Clinical Decision-Making Skills Required.
Knowledge of Infection Prevention, Patient Safety, Medication Administration, and Electronic Medical Records Required.
Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills Required; Must Be Able to Work Independently and Collaboratively and Meet the Physical Requirements of the Position.
